ABOUT MADRASSA-TUL-AYNAAT

Madrassa tul Aynaat is a realization of a dream, a dream of a number of women who got together as the South C Muslim Charity Organization and saw a need to have an Islamic religious educational centre in the South C Suburbs of Kenya’s Business Hub, Nairobi.

Being the Capital city of Kenya, Life here runs on the fast lane and it is important to hold on to religious values to keep up with Islamic cultures and traditions in this fast-paced life.

Madrassa tul Aynaat took off with only 15 students and 1 teacher and gradually over the past years has grown to accommodate a teaching force of 8 Islamic teachers and close to a hundred students as well as a great administration dream team running the show.

Established in in the year 2014 Madrasatul Aynaat aims at empowering children by providing them with basic and now advanced Islamic education, focusing primarily on the Sunnah of the beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW), Recitation of the Holy Quran and Memorization of the holy Quran.

The Institution also takes part in various forms of charitable activities to help improve the life standards of the Ummah.

With close to a hundred students now, Madrassa tul Aynaat has set a mission to educate children with the right Islamic knowledge for both the world as well as the hereafter, for the children to be able to follow in the footsteps and teachings of Rasoolullah SAW.

Madrassa tul Aynaat has set a focus at enrolling students from a tender age of 4 years all the way up empowering them with the best of Islamic education following both a local as well as an international set curriculum.

Madrassa tul Aynaat not only does it provide a base for Islamic studies, Correct recitation of the Quran and memorization of the Quran as well, it also strives to nurture children to bring out the great characteristics of the children to live a life as outlined by Rasoolullah (SAW).The Institution allows young children to Enjoy Islam by setting up activities like art and crafts; enjoy Television time by listening and reciting Nasheeds and inspiring

children through stories of the prophets and Sahabas, in short, providing children with a holistic perspective of Islam.Teachers at Madrassa tul Aynaat are carefully selected to offer the best possible care and Islamic education to the children in their field of speciality by looking at their abilities and passion towards teaching and providing Islamic education.

Apart from focusing on the foundation of Islam and teachings of the prophets (SAW), Madrasa tul Aynaat also empowers girls and women from the rural areas to be self-sufficient and independent by enrolling them to vocational courses such as knitting, artistic Henna application, embroidery, stitching, baking and painting to help them earn a living to lead a comfortable life.Madrassa tul Aynaat is where our children learn the essence of Islam and the lifestyle of the prophet (SAW)

Motivated by the Islamic faith and religion, The south C muslim Charity Organisation strives to cultivate Islamic values in children as well as adults of all ethnic backgrounds through a platform by the Name Madrassa Tul Aynaat.

Apart from parting Islamic knowledge as per the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of Rasululllah (SAW), the organisation makes every effort to serve the less fortunate members of society as a demonstration of Allah’s unconditional love for all people regardless of race, religion or gender.

The basis of The South C Muslim Charity Organisation’s values lie on the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhamad (SAW)

The South C Muslim Charity Organisation aims to hold itself accountable for its actions, decisions and activities before it is held accountable by others and finally in the court of Allah the Almighty. Therefore, at The South C Muslim Charity Organisation we aim to carry out our tasks with honesty, trustworthiness, transparency, care and love for humanity.To accomplish our goals, South C Muslim Charity Organisation and all its volunteers perform their responsibilities professionally with integrity to gain the respect and trust of those around them and the public.

INTEGRITY

Each person has the right to live and be treated with love, care, respect, dignity and integrity. The South C Muslim Charity Organisation upholds these principles of humanity while ensuring that we perform our responsibilities and activities with integrity in mind.

UNDERSTANDING

In order to provide effective assistance we try to understand the particular needs and demands of the people we are attempting to aid, going all the way to the rural regions of Kenya where such assistance is required more than ever.

How we spend the funds (donations) we receive.
The South C Muslim Charity Organisation works on various projects from uplifting lives of our fellow human beings to bringing Islam to people of various regions, from feeding the needy to educating people in order to polish and guide humanity to the right path, Islam.

You may decide to either donate towards a specific project which will route your funds to that specific project’s account, or you may choose to generally place a donation towards any good cause through the South C Muslim Charity Organisation where your funds may be routed either to aiding a student’s education, current running projects or the running and upkeep of Madrassa tul Aynaat.

Advancements and Improvements

Madrassa tul Aynaat is taking steps towards improvements and expansions in various areas including the course structures, organisation of events, and collaboration with external organisations for funding as well as management.

Madrassa tul Aynaat goes Online
The Management of Madrassa tul Aynaat is working towards incorporating a digital platform in form of an interactive website to keep members of the public informed about the progress of the institution with a view of sharing the happiness with the public as well as help spread the word about the madrassa and its functions across the globe.

Hafla 2021

Madrassa tul Aynaat for the very first time in the year 2021 held its first Hafla, where the very first lot of children went through the graduated process Alhamdulillah.Filled with glamour and glitter, the madrassa administration made sure the event was worthy of being the first in the history of the institution.The event marvellously showcased the efforts of the teachers, the hard work of the students as well as the passion of the administration team towards the madrassas mission and the dream of the women who set off to bring up this Islamic educational centre.

“Do not show lethargy or negligence in giving alms and charity till your last breath.” –Rasoolullah (SAW) (Bukhari and Muslim).

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” `{`Tirmidhi`}`

“Those who in charity spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” (Quran 2:274).

Our work has been to channel the spirit of Charity (Sadaqah) into a global vision for giving. Rest assured that our resources are here to help you give your Saqaqah and Zakaat where it can have the most impact.

FOOD SECURITY

The South C Muslim Charity Organisation also engages in food programs to provide the ummah with a hot meal. Its something that not everyone enjoys. Many of our brothers and sisters out there are deprived of atleast 1 hot meal a day. This organisation therefore works towards making sure that the less fortunate and the needy sleep every night having had atleast one good meal a day.

THE QURAN

WATER

A form of Sadaqa Jariyah to provide clean drinkable water to areas that do not receive this basic necessity. The South C Muslim Charity Organisation tries to bridge the gap between the givers and those who miss this essential necessity of survival.

EDUCATION

Above all, as the Quran commenced its instruction to Rasoolullah (SAW), and humanity — we are deeply committed to providing the unfortunate and vulnerable full access to inclusive and equitable quality education.
To educate someone is, therefore, to enrich them and their society for life and beyond.

RAMADHAN IFTAAR AND MEAL
Whoever gives the food of fast-breaking to the faster shall have the like of the faster in reward, not diminishing the reward of the faster in the slightest.
Prophet Muhamed (SAW)

There are natural rhythms to everything in life, and this includes our charitable giving. As the sacred month open to us — Ramadan specifically — our hearts beat with a bigger pulse to give.
The South C Muslim Charity Organisation engages in various activities to offer muslims fasting in this holy month of Ramadhan a change to have Iftar and a hot meal every day.
As quoted above, Rasulullah (SAW) has instructed us to give and reap countless rewards during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The South C Muslim Charity Organisation enables donors to celebrate and give thanks during the month of Ramadan by facilitating food distribution to families in need.
Fidyah: The option to pay Fidyah exists for those Muslims who cannot fast during Ramadan.
Kaffarah: Kaffarah is offered when one intentionally violates the fast without a valid excuse.

Udhiyah/Qurbani Giving
During the days of Eid ul-Adha, Muslims can follow the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, to provide fresh meat to penurious families around the world. Donors can sponsor shares of cows or sheep to fulfill this great service and festive gift to needy families.
